Summary/Abstract: The article provides a preliminary summary of this year’s amnesty for illegal immigrants. The amnesty provisions enabled foreign nationals to apply for the legalization of their stay in Poland. The author introduces the legal framework of the immigration policy and analyses preliminary results of the amnesty. In conclusion, she produces the recommendations for the Polish authorities in regard to immigration strategy.
