Summary/Abstract: : This article presents one very interesting imitation coin (a singlefind, minted by casting in a mould) from the 15th century – silver imitation ofHungarian golden florin from Wladislaw III Jagiello–Varnenchik (1434/1440–1444) found in Plovdiv (Обр. 1). The coin has the following parameters: diameter– 20 mm and weight – 2,47 g.The description of the finds is as follows:Obverse: Fourfold coat of arms: Hungarian Árpád stripes, Polish eagle,Lithuanian rider, Hungarian double cross within inner circles and meaninglessinscription: WIIFDISIIRVS D G R VRGARIE.Reverse: Fourfold coat of arms: Hungarian Árpád stripes, Polish eagle,Lithuanian rider, Hungarian double cross within inner circles and meaninglessinscription: S IIRODISWS VSVS REX.The probable dating of the find is the period 1440–1444 AD or a little later.The specimen is kept in a private collection in Plovdiv
