Summary/Abstract: Bulgarians have inhabited the lands of Macedonia for centuries. They have developed their way of life and culture and left a huge historical mark. In order to prove it, we search for objective facts. In the following pages, we will present ethnographic maps and chronicles of foreign travelers who indeed touched the Bulgarian cultural landscape in Macedonia even throughout the Ottoman rule.
