Summary/Abstract: This article aims to elucidate the significance Ziya Gökalp attributed to the concept of the poem “Kızılelma” and the approach he employed. It is evident that Gökalp, who places great importance on the concept of the ideal, symbolizes the ideal that will rescue the Turkish nation from its crises with the concept of Kızılelma. The influence of intellectuals such as Hüseyinzade Ali,Yusuf Akçura, and Ahmed Ağaoğlu, prominent figures in both the Jadidism movement among Russian Muslims and the Turkism movement during the time of the poem’s composition, is apparent. Gökalp collaborated with them in Turk Yurdu magazine and Türk Ocağı, and their influence played a significant role in shaping his orientation towards this idea. It is argued that Gökalp frequently incorporated elements of Jadidism into his work, describing the concept of Kızılelma with inspiration drawn from the contemporary process and conditions. These elements are identified and explained separately. This work reveals the intertwining of the concepts of Kızılelma and Jadidism.
