Summary/Abstract: It is a truth known to everyone that the university education system in Romania, especially the private one, is designed not for the preparation of students according to the economic and social needs of Romania, but according to the criterion of the profit of the universities and for the interest and convenience of the teachers. This article presents some of the main causes and effects of the shortcomings in Romanian higher education, especially in private LLC-type universities.
