Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the advantages, disadvantages, influencing factors, professional development needs, contribution to student achievement, adoption attitudes, and role in the education system of evidence-based teaching approach based on teachers' perspectives. This study adopts a qualitative research approach. Semi-structured interviews are employed as the data collection method. Participants are selected through purposive sampling from a pool of fifty teachers with diverse demographic characteristics. The collected data are subjected to thematic coding using content analysis. Participating teachers emphasize the advantages of the evidence-based teaching approach, including increased student learning outcomes, enhanced development of critical thinking skills, and improved student engagement. However, challenges in its implementation are noted, such as time constraints, student adaptation difficulties, and resistance stemming from traditional teaching habits. The teachers underscore the need for professional development and support, highlighting the requirement for training and resources to enhance the effective use of evidence-based teaching. Teachers generally display a positive attitude toward this approach and believe it could play a crucial role in the education system. However, concerns are raised regarding obstacles and resistance within the education system that could hinder its full-scale implementation.
