Summary/Abstract: The Heroes of the Liberation War Museum is a part of a wider KS Memorial Fund project dedicated to the heroes, which has been implemented as of year 2011. The museum itself, opened in April 2019 as the separate unit, strives to keep its purpose of the permanent preservation of knowledge and experiences about time that is slowly being consigned to the past. Although it focuses on nine persons, bearers of the highest military decoration – the Order of the Hero of the Liberation War, the project, by its implementation and activities, strives to include wider knowledge and experiences and create a more colourful and complex story that reflects the realities of the period 1992-1995 more faithfully. Also, in an interpretative sense, the museum imposes on itself the task of an open institution which can offer contents for the widest range of visitors. Part of these tasks is being solved with an elaborate approach to spatial preparation and interior design.
