Summary/Abstract: In September 2021, ABR SESTA Sp. z o.o. was commissioned by the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn to conduct a survey of the historical awareness of Poles among a representative quota sample of 1001 people. The results in terms of elementary knowledge – based on 19 questions – leave much to be desired. The level of pride and shame measured in 16 categories hypothetically involved in the current public debate, historical policy or information warfare is also disturbing.
