Summary/Abstract: This text discusses the issue of the Polish magnates; the attitude to the efforts of the dynasty, aimed at taking over the Bohemian throne, by Wladislaus Jagiellon, son of King Casimir Jagiellon, in 1471. A prosopographic analysis was made of a group of people from the magnates who personally accompanied Royal Prince Wladislaus on a military expedition to Prague in 1471. Its results indicate that these events were attended by ex- perienced advisers of King Casimir: Stanisław of Ostroróg and Mikołaj of Kutno, as well as a group of magnate youth along with armed horsemen. In terms of territorial origin, among the magnates involved in the expedition for the Bohemian crown, inhabitants of Greater Poland (11) prevailed over the magnates of Lesser Poland (7).
