Dünyada ve Türkiye’de Deniz Gücü Yönetiminin Önemi Üzerine Bir Değerlendirme
An Evaluation of the Importance of Maritime Power Management in the World and Türkiye

Summary/Abstract: Countries carry out commercial, political, economic, cultural, and social activities with other countries within the framework of their geopolitical positions and international law rules. It is an important source of power for countries to have the ability to use the seas in their commercial and military activities. Maritime power management contributes significantly to the economies of many countries when it is utilized together with policies and technological developments. Obtaining and managing this power is among the main goals of many countries. In this respect, countries like Türkiye, which have a coastline and a wide connection network, may have many advantages. The research aims to clarify the relationships between the authors, their countries, the keywords emphasized, and the relationships between the words and the current concepts regarding the development of the subject, specific to Türkiye. For this purpose, this research has examined 392 studies in the Web of Science database. Using the R program and bibliometric analysis, the research has shown that the words energy and energy management, maritime, power management, energy efficiency, energy storage, maritime transportation, sustainability, optimization, environment, resource management, and China are over-emphasized by the authors.
