Summary/Abstract: Communication has been taking place in our lives as a necessity of life since the existence of humanity. Communication, which we can Decipher as the transfer of all kinds of interpersonal facts such as information, experience, feelings and thoughts, has always existed and will continue to exist, even though it has undergone technological changes throughout history. It marks the stages of formation of the concept of communication, which is developing in parallel with the evolution of humanity, we can list it in the form of the development of language, the invention of writing, the invention of printing, the development of mass media. The poster, which is one of the important tools of mass communication in this research, it is aimed to study the effects of changes in relations between industrialized central states and underdeveloped peripheral states after World War II and their effects on the masses during the cold war, which arose as a result of advances in technology. Within the scope of the research, poster studies of the period dominated by the two superpowers (USA and USSR) that stood out politically, economically and militarily during this war period were selected as samples. The method of the research is a relational screening model developed through descriptive format and content analysis. In this direction, the definition of the poster and its impact on the developments and propaganda activities during the Cold war period as a mass communication medium have been investigated and understood.
