Summary/Abstract: Our study presents a hoard from Röjtökmuzsaj, which is unique in Hungary so far. The role of these find assemblages, which contain ring ingots typical of the Aunjetitz culture and the surrounding areas, is still a matter of debate in Central and Western European prehistoric research, but their presence provides data for the specialized Bronze Age metalworkers and suggests a centralized society. The ring ingot (Ringbarren) hoard found at Röjtökmuzsaj-Tölgyerdő sheds new light on the Early and Middle Bronze Age history of north-western Transdanubia (parallel with Rei. BA1 and A2; 2200–1500/1450) during this period.
