Summary/Abstract: The second part of the article continues with the presentation of the material evidence concerning the facts from the First World War in the Polish parish of Wójcin (1914–1918) which was bordering with Germany. The first part presents Rev. Andrzej Witulski, the author of the chronicle and it portrays the social and church reality before the outbreak of the European conflict as well as wartime episodes with an outline of weather conditions, military activity, and applied propaganda. Further outcomes of the acts of war in the outlined borders are presented in the second part which shows the most sensitive events concerning everyday life of inhabitants as well as changing economic conditions shaping the social relations. It refers to the descriptions of the religious lives of Catholics, which was the reality consolidating the people in the independence spirit that gained in strength after 1917.
