Summary/Abstract: Presentation of women/female characters in different artistic forms and artistic language often creates conceptions which the society uses to emphasise partiarchal norms and clearly reaffirm "naturalness" of gender dichotomy and imposed identities of women. The opposite dimension and characterisation in most of the films relates to absence of real deconstruction of some social realities, majority of which is presented through the prism of patriarchal norms which characterise absence of individuality of women, denying their independence - economic as well as intellectual, absence of social support and "normality" of violence. Deconstruction opens new spaces for transformations of stereotypical matrices through which we practice our habits, develop our opinions, consume the media, but also art. The author deconstructs films Kod amidže Idriza (At uncle Idriza's), Grbavica and Teško je biti fin ( It's hard to Be Nice)
