Legal protection insurance and the legal services market in Poland in view of empirical data

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the results of the secondary analysis of the empirical data gathered from research into the legal services market in Poland, which are important in the context of development of the legal protection insurance, as well as its significance as a channel of access to legal assistance. The regu­ larities observed are interpreted in view of the knowledge derived from similar foreign research and comparative data on the legal protection insurance market. On this basis a thesis has been advanced about insignificant influence of legal protection insurance on the legal services market in Poland and its limited role as a channel of access to legal assistance in this country.
