The Services trade and Its New Role in the Contemporary Economy

Summary/Abstract: The role of service sector is not always evaluated by economists in one and same way, but today its significance is indisputable as a contribution in the economy. The statistic data show that in the last years the growth of trade in services overtakes the growth of merchandise trade. A number of specifics as an economic category of the services exist and they stand out best when compared to goods. The variety of services as a product is a prerequisite for applying different approaches, placing different accents and focusing over different peculiarities when examining the phase of realization. The market tendency upon rendering of services requires the application of specific techniques that reflect on concrete models of the services trade.
