Summary/Abstract: The developing relations among Turkey and Kyrgyzstan engendered an interest in Kyrgyz history among the Turkish scholars. Since the first quarter of 20th century, these researches began to yield their fruits as publications. In recent decades the number of specialists on Kyrgyz history and outstanding researches conducted in the country increased dramatically. Consequently, these favorable developments will lead to emergence of Kyrgyz history a separate branch under the umbrella of Turkic history.
