Summary/Abstract: Report on the 5th Scientific Conference "Insurance against the Challenges of the 21st Century" Rydzyna, May 30 - June 1, 2011.On May 30-June 1, 2011, the 5th All-Polish Scientific Conference "Insurance against the Challenges of the 21st Century" was held in Rydzyna Castle near Leszno. This conference has been organized annually, starting from 2007, as a result of a joint initiative and cooperation between the staff of two Insurance Departments - on the one hand the oldest one - from the Poznań University of Economics, and on the other hand one of the youngest - from the Wrocław University of Economics.
