Summary/Abstract: On the occasion of the European Day of Languages, it took place online on September 26 a seminar organized by the Latvian Language Agency under the name Language consulting: traditions and trends. They presented their research at the seminar and the center of work of several experts from language consulting services from Iceland, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, from Slovenia and Slovakia. The program was rich in various topics related to language counseling, such as the use of digital tools, research in the field of linguistics standards, the issue of inclusive language. Negotiation language was English and Slovakia was represented by the workers of the language consultancy Linguistics Institute Ľudovít Štúr SAV, v. in. i., Daša Cimermanová and Kristína Piatková from the Department of Language Culture and Terminology.
