Summary/Abstract: The described practice illustrates the opinion of memory theorists that memories of various social and cultural groups are always present in individual memory; in other words, memory is never purely private and self-sufficient. This raises the questions: How should we approach the study of such practices? Can they be seen as an adequate extension of institutional or professional actions? At the very least, these examples provide us with the opportunity to contemplate concepts such as visibility, the commercialization of art, accessibility, unconventional actions, the complexity of private-public relations, the memorization of space and an authentic understanding of reality where one’s entire life is nothing less than an insolent performance.
