Summary/Abstract: Residential satisfaction is a multi-dimensional concept that is the degree to which residents feel their place of residence helps them achieve their desired goal. The research aims to develop a holistic model that can predict and measure residential satisfaction in regenerated housing in post-socialist cities. The holistic model for residential satisfaction postulates objective and subjective measurements after a brief review of theories and research gaps within the literature. This paper reports on the conceptualization of the model, with findings to validate this model being reported later. It is anticipated that the results of this model will assist key stakeholders to consider variables that are important in ensuring residential satisfaction within post-socialist cities.
