Summary/Abstract: The author of the article investigates the documents of the mission of the Red Cross and the trade delegation of the Soviet Russia in Czechoslovak Republic which are kept in the Foreign Policy Archive of the Russian Federation (AVP RF) and the Russian State Archive of social and political history (RGASPI). These documents contain some information about the activity of the Comintern and the foundation of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia in 1920-1921. The leadership of the Com-intern used the Soviet missions in Prague to maintain the relations with the representatives of the left radicals in Czechoslovakia, correspond with them and finance them. There were members in the stuff of the missions who were concerned with this commission of the Comintern. At the same time the leaders of the missions regarded the directives of the Executive Committee of the Comintern with some criticism. The author of the article demonstrates that the leader of the Soviet mission of the Red Cross Solomon I. Gillerson didn’t believe in the revolutionary potations of the Czech labor class and he believed that the course on the split of the Czechoslovak social democratic workers party was a mistake. The chairman of the trade delegation of the Soviet Russia Pavel N. Mostovenko criticized the activity of the agents of the Comintern in Czechoslovakia. The leaders of the soviet missions thought that the participation of the missions in the conspirator activities of the Comintern did considerable harm to the development of the Soviet-Czechoslovak relations.
