Summary/Abstract: Contemporary dogmatic theology seeks to emphasize more and more the importance of the existence of a unitary vision on dogmas, in a permanent connection with the spirituality and worship of the Church. The conscience of Orthodoxy identifies in dogma embodied truths of faith, with ontological, personal-community and experiential implications, reflecting the life of the Church, as the mystical body of Christ and of each individual member. Separating dogma from cult, it becomes an abstract, hermetic, rigid and distant concept, a simple intellectual-subjective construction, the cult remaining a set of rituals subject to formalism and human subjectivity.
