Summary/Abstract: The article analyses political activities of the Serbian parties in Croatia, and particularly their political propaganda. It focuses on the activity of the Democratic and Radical party starting from the elections for Constitutional Assembly until second parliamentary elections in 1923. It especially scrutinizes their activity during the election campaign early that year. Those two competing parties were accusing each other for betrayal of the Serbian national interests and for the activity that is endangering the functioning of the state. In Dalmatia Serbs elected 4 Radical deputies (26,66%) although their percentage in the national structure was 17%. In Croatia and Slavonia, however, 13 Serbian MP’s were elected (7 Democrats and 6 Radicals), although Serbs were forming 24% of the constituency. With 11 MP’s in Dalmatia and 52 in Croatia and Slavonia, Croatian side could have been more satisfied with the electoral results. Gathered around a common national program, it showed cohesion and secured large number of seats, in contrast to the Serbs who failed to do so as they were divided in two political options.
