Summary/Abstract: At the Evangelical-Augsburg cemetery in Szadek is located a war quarter from the Times of First World War. There were buried several dozen soldiers fallen after the Battle of Łódź in November–December 1914. Nowadays only 13 soldier’s tombstones can be found. The author has made an attempt to identify the fallen soldiers on the basis of preserved inscriptions and documents.
