Summary/Abstract: Eco-industries in industrial production and economic policy play an important role in achieving economic, social and environmental development. The scope and focus of the EU action plans for eco-innovation creates in national conditions a space for the use and integration of the policies and tools that have been applied so far. The integrated management system (IMS), as perceived by the theory and practice, is based on the generic structure of international standards concerning quality management (STN EN ISO 9001: 2009), environmental management (ISO 14001: 2004) and occupational health and safety management (STN OHSAS 18001: 2009). The article deals with the analysis of eco-innovation and its importance for the development and sustainability of manufacturing companies. Eco-innovation by corporate social responsibility encourages has a positive impact on sustainable management. Applying the principles of eco-innovations ensures the environmental, economic and social growth. This article provides an analysis of the current situation in Slovak companies using the IMS tool.
