Summary/Abstract: Dimitrije Đurović (Petrovo Kopito 1882 − Mauthausen 1945) is a forgotten Yugoslav Slavist of the interwar period, who left behind an extensive and significant body of work, consisting of 31 monographic editions and 130 articles published in various domestic and foreign journals. As a Christian and a deeply ecclesiastic intellectual, he devoted a large number of articles to emphasizing the mission of Orthodoxy in preserving the morality and purity of the human soul and the future of humanity, while as a scientist and researcher he dealt with Paleo-Slavic studies, the history and theory of Serbian and Slavic literature, textbook literature, lexicography, translation, journalism, literary criticism. During his rich and varied scientific and pedagogical career, he also spent six years as a lecturer in Church Slavonic and Russian at the Orthodox Faculty of Theology, and published works in several theological journals. In this paper, we analyze the published works of D. Đurović in the journal Bogoslovlje, as well as their place in the entire scientific work of the author.
