Summary/Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic forced both authorities and institutions and individuals around the world to take specific measures to prevent the spread of the virus, and the most accessible, safe, and used measures were wearing a protective mask and keeping 1.5-2 meters from other people. These two measures put a category of vulnerable people in high difficulty: the hearing impaired. The present study aims to explore the psycho-social effects of prevention measures against the SARS COV 2 virus on people with hearing loss in Romania and to identify some models of good practices in communication with these people.
