Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the author aims to discuss one of the most important issues in today’s society, namely migration. Migration is a phenomenon that affects every country, and globalisation only accentuates this situation. The complexity of the issues involved makes it necessary to approach it from several re- search angles, each of which proposes appropriate solutions for managing the phenomenon. For the stranger, belonging is a reality that cannot be ignored, and the feeling of alienation is one that must be taken into account when considering the phenomenon of migration.
