Summary/Abstract: Paul Romer is a co-laureat of the 2018 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. This article summarises his work, opinion development and personal contribution in the area of economic theories. It mainly characterizes his understating of economic growth in regard to the human capital, investments in research and education, as well as economic integratin. The authors do not omit other results of Romer’s research in the area of social politics and charter cities.
