Summary/Abstract: The study analyses the influence of sharing information and communication on activities and effectiveness of innovators during the observed period of the economic crisis in 2006 - 2010. The authors come to the conclusion that improving the sharing communication or information in companies influences expenses on scientific activities of companies; however, it does not contribute to raising the productivity of innovators. It can be explained by stating that these companies have a well-organised system of sharing communication, which allows them to introduce new innovations to the market to produce higher profits. Companies that either introduce less important innovations to the markets or are not innovators can profit from improving their communication. These companies have higher work productivity; focusing on further markets and foreign ownership are two of the main aspects of increasing work productivity.
