Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to identify the main problems of the activities of social enterprises and the issue of employment of socially disadvantaged people in social enterprises. The research was conducted by the questionnaire survey in social enterprises. The survey showed that the biggest barriers to the activities of social enterprises include the lack of the act of social entrepreneurship. There is a group of people with disabilities and the longterm unemployed in the most often employed, which belongs to the basic identifiers of social impact. The paper is also to contribute to the debate about social entrepreneurship and employment of disadvantaged people in the labor market in the Czech Republic.
