Summary/Abstract: Fiqh works, in general, mention the goals and intentions of Sharia in the form of preserving and protecting universal values, especially religion and life. However, we do not find independent works, at least not in our area of speech, which put these two universal, protected values into correlational links. For this reason, we tried to define the first two fundamental protected values in the Sharia, namely the religion of Islam and human life, using the descriptive method and the method of citing traditional texts with analysis, comparison and their evaluation to explain their mutual, correlational relationship.
