Evaluation of Regional Distribution of Environmental Projects within Selected Operational Programme

Summary/Abstract: The issue of the European Funds is highly topical and discussed nowadays. The efficient allocation of the EU Funds is one of the key domains of economic prosperity in the Czech Republic and its integration into the European structures. This article focuses on environmental policy. It assesses the implementation of projects of the Priority Axis 7 „Development of the Infrastructure for Environmental Education, Consulting and Enlightenment of the Operational Programme Environment, with the emphasis on regional segmentation. The aim of this article is to assess the results of the already-closed three Open Calls of the Ministry of Environment announced for this priority axis. An integral part of this article is the analysis of the distribution of relevant projects in each region using the Open Call No. XIV of the Ministry of Environment.
