Application of Kaizen Management in Production Company

Summary/Abstract: Kaizen is a method based on the Japanese experience with a continuous improvement of processes. Kaizen is a small improvement of the present situation at the cost of daily, ongoing efforts to the continuous improvement of the productivity and quality of the process. Kaizen management is a logical continuation of the following implementation of the lean manufacture and is focused on maintaining the system efficiency and its further continuous improvement. This paper is focused on the evaluation of the implementation of Kaizen management in the company VISHAY ELECTRONIC Ltd. Přeštice, bureau Prachatice. Based on the following two projects, Econopot and Linear lines, it was found that the introduction of Kaizen management was successful. In the context of the findings, we can recommend the introduction of Kaizen for other manufacturing companies.
