The Viennese period in the oeuvre of Bistra Vinarova – the printmaking as a new vehicle for the artist

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present the artist Bistra Vinarova – a brief historical overview of her life will be made, the periods of her work, her belonging to expressionist groups will be examined and analysed. The research will focus on the so-called Viennese period, in which the author worked primarily in the field of graphics.The years between 1920 and 1922 will be presented as a period of change in the plastic language and means of expression of the artist.
