Summary/Abstract: While digital technology has brought unexpected benefits, it has also led to countless unfortunate consequences and profound ethical challenges that challenge us to theologically (re)think how we should live our faith in a technological and “digital” society. The aim of this article is therefore to provide a simple “sketch” of a public theology of the digital space, in hope that it could serve as a basis for further discussions. We will do this, on the one hand, by reflecting not only on the problems of “digitalization”, but also on their causes – which will, naturally, lead to outlining a Christian philosophy of technology - and, on the other hand, by proposing some key elements for articulating a public theology of digital space.
