Summary/Abstract: Limited Liability Company takes more than 95 % of all types of companies in the Slovak Republic. Relatively low basic capital, the most acceptable personal requirements (minimum of one founder) and the measure of founder’s guarantee for company’s obligations create a subject, which minimizes business risk. In some polemics on deficiencies in its inner functioning the term Limited Liability Company keeps behind - the term itself respects company’s features too little. The article pays attention to the Limited Liability Company’s basic provision de lege ferenda.
