Summary/Abstract: The contribution focuses on explaining the basic concepts in the field of agri-tourism, outlines the basic trends and problems of the tourism and rural tourism in the Czech Republic. The main part of the paper is based on a questionnaire survey carried out on a sample of members of the Union of Rural Tourism in the Vysočina Region. This part describes the methodology of the studying and the recommendations arising from the analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey, including the outline of other options and proposals for the development of agri-tourism in the region.
