Summary/Abstract: This review presents the book Ljubomir Miletić and the Macedonian Scientific Institute. A Cultural and Historical Study by Prof. Vladko Murdarov. The study focuses on the contributions of Ljubomir Miletić to the establishment of the Macedonian Scientific Institute in Sofia in 1923 and its extensive activities. In addition, the book highlights the role of Acad. Ljubomir Miletić as a linguist and Slavist for the study of the Bulgarian dialects and the history of the Bulgarian language, as well as his organisational, publishing and popularisation work.
