Summary/Abstract: The common agricultural policy (CAP) is the key dimension of agricultural business. The agrarian sector of the Czech Republic had to adapt its principles after the accession to the European Union. The CAP is the most expensive and the most discussed policy as it impacts the overall social context. The subsidy policy - the essential part of the CAP - is a living structure still undergoing development tendencies. This paper analyses the subsidy structure of a sample of agricultural holdings classified according to their share of agricultural land in the LFA in the period between 2003 and 2006. This paper is a part of NAZV QG 60042 project.
