Summary/Abstract: The theory of games studies decision situations in social systems in the area of industry, business, services, biology, military etc., in which interests of people, groups of people or organized systems clash. Thus, the theory of games can also be applied in the field of political science, where its application is referred to as electoral games. An important factor determining the real influence and the voting power of a certain electoral group is the so-called voting rule. Thus, this contribution deals with mathematical models in the field of Czech communal elections applied to a small town. It investigates the question, whether - by gradual changes to the communal election law - it is possible to create space for application of certain strategies, with the use of which communal political elites can influence the final election results in their favour.
