Summary/Abstract: The article describes meaning of philosophy teaching in tertiary education and is focusing on positive and negative experience in teaching of heterogeneous education branches. Concurrently it confirms necessity of dialogue of philosophy with the kinds of science, which students read on suitable faculty and its branches. Philosophy teaching has to inspire students to hard-core humanism, democracy, obeisance to culture and to traditional essential values of the past. It depends on every teacher of philosophy, if his eyes are fixed to the past, or if he knows that, be means of the teaching, he today prepares his students on serious problems of the future society.
