Summary/Abstract: Nowadays it is important to pay appropriate attention to development of regions. One from basic elements, which in developing potential plays significant role, is human factor, his quality and activity. Paper deals with analysis and evaluation of development chosen indicators of unemployment in South Bohemia and Ústecký region. South Bohemia region is in the long term one from regions with lowest unemployment measure among Czech regions; vice versa Ústecký region is situated on the other end of chart. Outputs are partial part of research project 1J016/04 - DP2 with title: Socio-economic development in Czech country and agriculture.
