Summary/Abstract: The world energy consumption from the renewable sources is approximately 20% of the total energy budget. In the Czech Republic the renewable energy sources comprises only 2.4% of the total energy consumption, which is in confrontation with other European Union states much lower (for example: Finland 25%, Switzerland 18%, Austria 14%). Th e Czech Republic goal is to increase the percentage of the renewable energy consumption on 3 -6% in 1010 and on 4-8% in 2020. According to the government conception approximately 500 hectares of the land should be available for growing of the energetic plans. Th e fulfillment of this conception depends on the society support of the development of the utilization of the renewable energy sources and phytofuels, restriction of the subventions of the fossil fuels and tax restriction, from which the prices of the fossil fuels are really subsidized. Th e important role plays also support of the breeding programs of the energy plans, development of the technical devices, the growing and processing technology.
