Summary/Abstract: Family Engineering is an easily implemented tool to improve organization of household chores. This technique has interesting therapeutic properties. Family as a whole develops communication skills. Family members learn how to set new common goals and reach them as a team. Family members cooperate in fulfilling household chores and take responsibility for achieving them. The person in a prior role in the family (usually mother) is partially unburdened and learns to hand chores over to other family members and respects their competences. All family members can profit form rules set to establish peace and harmony within their relationships.
