Summary/Abstract: In the past few decades, due to the rapid development of technology and the emergence of numerous new forms of entertainment and amusement for children (video games, internet content, increasingly prevalent and accessible devices like tablets, gaming consoles, and more), traditional children’s games are gradually being forgotten. Considering the vital role that traditional games played in a child’s psychophysical development and socialization, which new forms of entertainment cannot replace, the Second Primary School in Gračanica has conceived and initiated a project workshop titled “Forgotten Children’s Games.” The aim of this workshop is to revive old, traditional children’s games among the school’s students. This article provides detailed information about the project, along with descriptions of selected, revived traditional games that are practiced with the students and successfully presented through play as part of extracurricular activities for the seventh consecutive school year.
