Summary/Abstract: In the article presented the author makes a characteristic of the views of Grigor Nachovich about the policy, which the Bulgarian state should follow on the national reunion issue in the beginning of the XX century. As a result of a thorough analysis of archive source materials it is concluded in the research that for G. Nachovich the reforms in the Ottoman Empire are one of the most acceptable forms for the gradual, staged fulfillment of national reunion of the Bulgarian people. In this sense his insisting support for the reform act before the prince and the government should be also examined. Brought before the dilemma of revolution, reforms or war, Nachovich considers that each one of these means has its own time and place. The task of the Bulgarian political elite is to determine the moment of their use.
