Summary/Abstract: This research aims to examine the effectiveness of a special education program to strengthen the creative thinking skills of primary school students. The research was conducted on 30 experimental and 30 control group students at the 4th grade level. While a specially designed training program was applied to the experimental group, traditional training methods were applied to the control group. Students' creative thinking skills were measured through the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking and the Critical Thinking Abilities Inventory. The findings reveal that the students in the trial group showed a significant increase in their creative thinking skills. Module-based analyzes showed that problem solving and creative expression modules made significant contributions to student achievement. Subgroup analyzes examined the effects of gender, prior achievement, and socioeconomic status on differences in student achievement. The results show that specially designed educational programs can be made more effective by adapting them to student groups.
