Summary/Abstract: National parliaments are the representatives of popular sovereignty. Any restrictions on parliamentary rights have a direct impact on separation of powers and rule of law. This article elaborates on some of the landmark decisions worldwide of the constitutional courts vis a vis national parliaments during epidemic restrictions.
